We bought a 100-year-old house over the summer. We didn't have a ton of money to invest in fix-ups, but knew that ripping out carpeting and refinishing the original hardwood floors underneath was a big priority... and we had to get that job done in the 2 weeks between when we closed on the house and when our lease was up.

Alex and his crew were great. The day after my wife made the initial phone call to inquire about an estimate, Alex came to the house. His estimate was competitive, AND he was able to start work on it in 2 days. They arrived on time (early, in fact) each day for work, worked late in the evenings in order to get the job done within the time frame we needed, and did incredible work. The floors were in pretty rough shape--big chunks of plywood used to replace damaged boards, tons of paint splotches and pet pee spots and stuff... and now, they look absolutely amazing.

Alex is such a nice guy and an incredibly hard worker, and we highly recommend him.
