For nearly 20 years I’ve been using this hardware store. I’m always pleased with the service and products.

Buying a tiny tool to help me work on electronics or renting yard or carpet equipment, this place has never let me down. I am also pleased with the paint department and its vast abilities to help with any project or need. I’ve always found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful in the times where I needed their assistance.

This isn’t a run of the mill hardware retailer. This is a true hardware store run by pro’s that live the hardware store lifestyle while on duty.

People not used to visiting a true hardware store might complain about its appearance, as many people are used to the spit shined appearances of these massive lumber yards and hardware retailers popping up all over the place that are run by kids that are still in high school and know little or nothing about the products they are supposed to be selling.

Ace hardware in Sussex is different, they answer questions you may have about plumbing, electrical, painting and more. Ace in Sussex also does something the massive stores don’t do. Ace in Sussex has a resource counter for ordering merchandise not carried in their store. Just because you don’t see it on their shelves doesn’t mean that they can’t sell it to you.

Something else I’d like to mention about Sussex Ace Hardware is the fact that this business is involved with community events. Great Job!
