I wanted a day at the spa for my anniversary present. My husband made me an appointment to get a haircut, a pedicure and a massage.
Kenya, the woman who cut my hair, was super sweet and I enjoyed chatting with her. The way they price their haircuts are a bit ridiculous. A "wet cut" is $25 and a "dry cut" is $45. Okay, who would get their hair cut when it's dry? And why would it be an extra $20? Even the $25 seemed a bit steep. From now on for my hair I'll stick to Roffler's.
The pedicure was mediocre to say the least. They don't even have the pedicure chairs you see in nail salons. They just bring one of those $20 foot baths you can buy at Walmart. After my pedicure was said and done the only difference I noticed in my feet was my toenails were a different color. I'll stick to Lovely Nails over in the Goody's shopping plaza.
Now the massage is worth going!! Amber was my massage therapist and she was awesome...very sweet and knew what she was doing. I will definitely be back for that at least!
Bottom line, while it may be convenient to have these various services all done at one place I would just come for the massage and go somewhere different for everything else.
