A genuinely Italian, family-run restaurant that serves superb cuisine in generous portions. Son Frank is the pizza specialist, and his stuffed pizzas match any in Chicago. Daughter Julie is the hostess, and Mrs. Vitale keeps a watchful eye over the kitchen and her recipes.

My wife says that as far as Macomb is concerned, she is going to miss Vitale's most of all, when she returns to Norway.
