What a super place for Breakfast! I've never had a bad meal here. Everything on the menu is so good, and the specials on the blackboard (well, actually, it's a whiteboard) are just delish. Their Eggs Benedict rock, so do the apple pancakes. Good old eggs and hashbrowns AND it's one of the few northern eateries where you can get a bowl of grits that are as full of creamy goodness as the ones in the southern states.

My picky husband loves their coffee, and they actually offer a variety of teas if you aren't under the spell of The Bean.

Orders are taken quicky and served cheerfully. While you are waiting you can doodle on the placemats with the crayons provided.

I've only had lunch there, once, and I enjoyed it. The sandwiches, soups and salads are creative and tasty.

Martins is family- friendly as long as the kids don't run around, as the place isn't huge.

The prices won't scare you away from Martin's. The place isn't fancy or foofoo, so leave the attitude in the Lexus. You'll get a good meal with good service.
