I stayed at ABVI, Vista from Sept. 12 to Sept. 20, 2009. I found the room to be exceptional. The room was so much more spacious than I expected and there was plenty of storage for clothes and stuff. The bed was sooo comfortable. I did not expect THAT! All the staff was pleasant and helpful. I really appreciated the fact that the cleaning staff did not "hover" around your room waiting for you to leave. No matter when I left, my room was always clean and tidy when I got back.
The grounds were clean. It was relatively quiet (I was on the freeway side and kept my windows open at night). You could barely hear the freeway. The pool area was clean and had plenty of lounges.
The only problem I had was internet access. My laptop firewall (McAfee) was not happy with the provider and would not let me use it. I informed Pam of this when I checked out, she said she would advise their IT personnel.
I will definately stay there again next summer with I visit my family.
