This RL gives the worst RL experience ever and the manager just blew me off when I tried to discuss the problems! Last visit I had to sit and eat while the crew chatted about sports, etc so loudly I couldn't hear the people I was sitting with speak. This time, it was a screaming girl and her family. The bread wasn't the freshest, no refreshing of drinks, slow service which is a RL trait, mediocre food, and again I couldn't hear the people I was sitting with. I don't need a hearing aid either. I like to do a 20% tip, but not with this kind of service and atmosphere. The manager told me that RL was a family restaraunt, but it's not Long John Silver's either. It might as well be with the atmosphere, lack of service, and caring of management. At least I'd get faster service! I know several RL employees and managers, including my daughter, and this place is going to the dogs unless the chain is as a whole. I travel across the country and never have I had such an experience at a RL as I have these last two visits in McAllen. I guess being the top RL has finally gotten to the best of management's ego and the customer doesn't matter anymore. There are better places to go if you want to leave a 20% tip.
