I am yet another former employee of this establishment. However I will be trying to give a more unbiased veiw of this place rather than try to bash it or put it on a pedastal as I see most of the reviews have already done. Some of the Pros of this eatery are as folows: the food is very very good (my favorites would be the seseme chicken, the pork fried rice, and the cream cheese wontons which are freshly made by hand almost daily.), very little comes from cans at dragon pearl this would deffinatlly help tastewise I am asuming, service is always prompt and you are served your food pipeing hot within ten minutes. However now I shall describe some of dragon pearls downfalls: Allthough the food is exquisite very little is done about cleanliness in the back kitchen, daily I saw cooks cleaning or using the restroom facilities and when they had finished they would not wash their hands (although I have never seen them drop food and still use it as the former employee Mr. Weiners states two posts down from me, I have also never heard of anyone getting sick), as for people saying how nice Helen is she is very nice, however you must understand that one of her tactics to keep business is by treating you like family, litterally anyone who walks in those doors will get the same treatment by Helen if they've come to eat at her restaraunt. I would always find it funny when I talked to people who ate there often who were under the impression that they were Helen's best friends, you must understand that (everyone is Helen's best friend if you spend your money there). All this aside i would deffinatlly still recomend eating here, its the best chinese for quite a while.
