Recently, myboyfriend and I went to Golden Corral for breakfast. We arrived about 10 AM. The line was going through the door and there was only one employee who was working the cash register and drinks stand. We seated ourselves and went to get breakfast. We found out that they were completely out of bacon, scrambled eggs, juice and milk, among other things. Only 2 of the 4 burners at the omelet station worked. One employee made some sausage gravy to put out which resembled opaque water, at best. A patron complained and he told her that he was trying to do his best to keep up with everything. Only after a bit more prodding from the customer did he make a new batch of gravy. While there, several customers left out of annoyance. My boyfriend and I have decided that it is HIGHLY unlikely that we will visit Golden Corral again based on that visit. I know that buffets are usually chaotic and it was a Sunday morning, but it was still more aggravation than we cared to deal with.
