I find it interesting that there are so many "positive" reviews for this shop. It almost seems as if the shop's employees asked friends and family to post positive reviews...how novel! Let me explain my personal experience with Pop's. I am an individual with several tattoos and as I'm now living locally, had heard that Pop's was a local business. When I called to do some basic "fact finding," the individual who answered the phone appeared to not want to be bothered to assist me. He asked me to call back later to speak to another employee. I decided that I should step foot in the shop. When I arrived, the staff or friends of staff ( I couldn't quite tell) where clearly mid-conversation and the one person I directed my questions to did not disguise the irritation in his voice when I asked about which artists were able to handle tribal vs. knotwork. Why the attitude? Was I interrupting a heated dicussion about world issues? Uh-no! The lack of customer service and general appearance of the shop was enough to make me look elsewhere for my next tattoo. My impression is that Pop's is a "hang-out" for tweens and twenty somethings. A bit of advise kiddies, drop the attitude. Customer's don't ask for the red carpet to be rolled out, but stop your conversation and answer my questions in a professional manner. After all, it's supposed to be a business.
