Doctor Sager is the best vet I have ever brought my pets to. My collie was having skin problems about 5 years ago. All the vets and pet dermatologists we went to were completely stumped. Doctor Sager devoted himself to my dog's case and discovered a rare genetic disease wich neither of us can pronounce! But he started treatment immidately and it was amazing how quickly she started to feel better. In the sumer she was acting paralytic and walking in circles. Positive she was going to have to be put down. We went into the vet in tears. Doctor Sager politely avoided the topic and did a quick blood test. He diagnosed her with early stages of Lymes disease and some managleable arthritis. He sent us home with medication and she made a full recovery from the Lyme Disease. We went home crying with relief.
When two of our budgies died in our hands because of some sort of paralisis/poisoning. We were on the phone immidately with Doctor Sager. The first thing he asked us was "were you cooking on teflon?" When we responded yes he told us about the effects of teflon on birds. Obviously, our new set of teflon went to the dump and we bought cast iron. Needless to say the Doctor Sager is the best vet we could ever have the pleasure to use for our beloved pets.
