AM Appliance Repairs

San Antonio, TX

Review Date: 11/10/2009

Stay away. The technician (and I use the term loosely) showed up in his own passenger car. They apparently don't even have stocked repair vans. The first thing he had to do was call his boss to find out what to do. He was obviously not trained in appliance repair. I should have sent him on his way as soon as he showed up in his own car or when he couldn't figure out how to take the back off of the appliance. Had to pay $50 sevice charge for nothing. Their labor and parts charge seemed way high. Even so I would have been afraid to let him dig into my appliance too far. I suspect it would have turned into a big problem of having to try to get them to come out and fix it over and over again. Avoid this company. I must add that the technicain was very polite and well mannered. He would probably be an asset to any company in some other role or even as a technician if he recieved the proper training. But I would not use any company that would send out an untrained and under equipt tech by himsef into the field. It's not fair to him or the customer.
