I had the pleasure on October 11 to return to Beck's and the food was excellent. Just as it was in the late '50's. I did miss the picnic tables and the oyster shuckers, but many years have passed. My grandmother, Kat Murphy, owner of the Kit Kat Hotel at Myrtle Beach, often commented, although she served meals, Beck's was a real treat. Thoroughly enjoyed my return trip and hope to get back once again. The grim Reaper watches us at this age, but will return in the spring'
