Avoid municipal plaza if you can. Most of the workers there are slow as molasses. The time it takes them to serve 1 customer, Brian on Broad Street can serve 10...maybe more.
They talk down to you. They always grill you if you have liquids or explosives in your items...even if you're mailing a small bubble mailer!!!! They always try to sell you Delivery Confirmation, Insurance, etc. even when you clearly tell them you don't want it because what you are mailing doesn't warrant it.
They have this weird system where if you have to fill out a customs form, delivery confirmation slip, etc. They tell you to step aside, fill it out, and then cut to the front of the line. I've seen more than a few tense situations where people who just walk in and get in line see the other people "cutting" and become very aggressive. But what do the postal workers care....they're behind bulletproof glass. They don't care if you're put in a sticky situation.
Michael and Robert are the slow and rude people. The two Asian gentlemen are as nice as can be and always try to make your experience easy. I'm not racist...that's just from my observations.
I avoid this place like the plague but sometimes when it's after 4:00, I have no choice.
I doubt you'll have experiences different than mine.
