Not a good experience at this place. I went here primarily to get prolotherapy done in a couple places, and most especially for my back. I have done multiple rounds of PT and other therapies with no long term relief and unrelenting pain for over 4 years, and yet the doctor (Dr. Duncan) said that she would just recommend more of the same. She was reluctant to do prolo near the spine (and *this* is a clinic that specializes in back problems?? Makes no sense) for what she felt had a low chance of success. She barely took any time at all to review my history and did only a most cursory exam, which bothered me greatly due to the complexity and long history of my problems. She did prolo to my arms but only one injection (typically it would always involve multiple injections into each site to make sure you get a good inflammatory response through the whole area) and wanted me to come back for another round in 2 weeks (it takes 4-6 weeks to even know if you got any real result from prolo, so there's little reason to do it this soon and seemed to be just a way to have me come in more often...i.e. pay more to get the same end result). I consulted with another doctor that is considered an expert in prolo and he also found the method of treatment for me not typical for how prolo should be done, and also said he would have no problem with treating my back pain and that my symptoms seemed to be a good candidate for prolo. Overall, I cannot recommend this clinic as I felt they did not offer good treatment options, did not properly evaluate the problems, and what treatment they did was not in line with what is standard for how it would typically be performed. I have since been going to another doctor (out near Charlotte) for prolo treatments on my back and we've had excellent results. I'm glad I was not satisfied with this doctor's assessment that it would not work for me, because now at last I have some relief from the pain that has plagued me for so long.
