I *love* Japanese food, and this is, hands down, my favorite restaurant anywhere. The food is fantastic! The grilled rice combos are absolutely to die for, especially with shrimp sauce mixed in. The previous owner told me that they use short grain (sushi) rice in the grilled dishes, which makes the texture and flavor really outstanding, imo.

I was especially thrilled when they added the sushi menu. They have my favorite, unagi (eel), and it's better than any I've tried elsewhere. The sauce for dipping the sushi appears to have honey in it, which gives the sushi a nice, sweet taste. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
