I worked here in 1982 and received my Certified Nurses Aid degree at the hospital. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I loved working there, It was clean and everyone received great treatment. I had 2 ladies that didn't talk or move and I had to pick up one and put her in her chair and she had a few hairs on her chin and I told her I wanted to remove them and when I did she kissed me. The other one I had to feed with a tube and I always talked to all of them and I gave her a kiss on her forehead and she told me she loved me. I had another one that was mean and talked like a sailor when I woke her up and put her in the shower but as soon as I put her in her wheel stair she was so nice and happy, It was a wonderful experience and loved it but had to leave to work at my second job as a bartender in Costa Mesa. It is sad you make more money serving drinks then helping older people that really need your help and is so satisfying and you feel great about doing it. Now I am a blackjack dealer in Las Vegas at the Rio Hotel now and I am going to make time to go and help in a convalescent hospital with some co workers that are already doing it. I can't wait. Thank you for helping me with the discovery of the feeling of helping older people that no matter what the condition they are in that they know you are there and you should always talk to them and show them you love them and most of all that the family needs to visit as much as they can because they miss you and know when you are not there,
