When my grandmother died in April, she left behind my grandfather, who can't drive and has memory and health problems. I was so bewildered by all of the things we had to address in order to ensure my grandfather would be ok. While I was touring a "cookie cutter" senior community, I had a knot in my stomach the entire time and knew my grandfather wouldn't be happy there. Frankly, no one looked happy there - not staff or residents! I called Pacific Gardens while on that tour and was helped by Sharon, who coached me for over an hour, while maintaining her sympathetic and kind demeanor. After that conversation, I knew no one would take better care of my grandfather than the people at Pacific Gardens. My grandpa and I are so grateful to have found them.
