Craigville Realty offers vacation rentals on 200 houses in the Hyannis, Hyannisport, Centerville area of the Mid Cape Cod. They have been in business for more than 35 years. They also promote small developments and act as sales agents for many of the houses in the area.

10 years ago I spent two or three days looking for a house, south of Boston to take a sabbatical. I drove around neighbourhoods, walked into real estate offices and was driven to different houses by agents... but didn't bite.

I walked into Craigville Realty's Office, and I meet this gentlemen (Martin), who asks me what I am looking for, listens, and then hands me a map, a key, and says, go look at it and if you don´t like it we will show you another one. It took a further two iterations for me to set on a house - with which I was very happy and stayed throughout my sabbatical.

I was initially surprised by the warmth and trust with which I was treated - literally a walk-in with no recommendations - and how, in a bare 30 minutes I had seen 3 houses and found a fantastic house within my budget. This encounter became anecdotical for me - however, I have seen that it was not by chance.

10 years have passed, and I have rented numerous houses fior summer vacations from Martin (and from no-one else). As far as I have paid and looked at other properties, the rates of their rentals are fair and good value. At Craigville Realty they are knowledgeable about their houses, they know very well how to interpret seemingly vague ideas into the right suggestions, they tell you what you cannot see in pictures, specially if there is anything bad. I have found time and again honesty in appraisal, pro-active communication, anticipation of needs, and generosity. Be it Terry, Donna, Sam (Martin's son) or Karen (Martin's daughter) you are listened to and acted upon. It is not only that any time we needed anything we have met an attentive, responsive, and competent help, but always in good humour - clearly a matter of choice.

Ultimately, as a client, in one word, that word is TRUST. If that is not clear enough, in two words, it is Total Trust. As a person (and family), a third word is Gratitude.
