I am getting married in November, Having not lived here long I do not know my way around OKC.. After going by GPS we went through MANY bridal shops that didn't have what I was looking for or were no longer there.. We ended with David's Bridal.. The first time I went to Davids Bridal, everything I tried on the sales lady told me it looked good, when I knew my body was not fit for the dress.. The second time I went I got a dress that looked too funerally.. (I wanted an informal dress).. The third time I went, after standing around there for an hour waiting to try something on (dressing rooms were empty) I was told by a personell if their 4:30 appt. didnt show up she would help me.. This was at 3:00pm!! So I left frustrated and ready to either wear my funerally dress or order one online ACK! I typed in Wedding dress online and Nearly New Shoppe showed up. I called them and they said they had plus size, so I took my handy GPS and made it too them... THANK GOODNESS!!! I was so impressed by those ladies!! Their dresses were gorgeous, and the ladies were honest! after trying a couple on, they let me know the dresses may not be right for my body, They were so right, I am round, and these dresses were short (they were like the same dresses Davids Bridal were telling me looked good, sheesh!!! Then we found some that were, and omg I loved them! I was stuck between two, they helped me decide on the right one, and at a WONDERFUL price!! They then gave me the name of a lady to do alterations that were needed and Shonda the alteration lady was so wonderful! I can not be pleased enough with my decision to come here! My dress is Gorgeous, and I sent a picture of me in the dress to my sister of whom I havent seen for a couple of years, and she said my gawd you have lost a lot of weight, you look so thin! No I haven't!! It is the rouching on my dress!! God bless those ladies!! HeHe!!
Thank you so much for your help, your honesty, and your alteration refferal. You have made me excited to look pretty for my wedding!! (by the way my fiance' loved, loved the dress and said not funerally at all!! hehe!
