My mother has dementia and lives at A Brand New Day. When I moved to Redding to take care of Mom I found out quickly how difficult caring for a parent with dementia can be. I chose A Brand New Day because it felt more homelike than some of the bigger places with their fluorescent lights and noisy environment that my Mom hates to be around. All of the staff is well trained and has always been very polite and friendly whenever I visit. So I feel welcome whenever I visit my Mom. I stay for lunch or dinner a couple of times a week. Mom and I like going on the weekly outings with other residents and staff to parks and local restaurants. My Mom, my sister and I would like to say that we are very grateful to the owners of A Brand New Day.
