The wife and I went to Julia's Talley House last evening. Findings: Chicken - great,
Biscuits - great,
Red eye gravy - great,
Corn - great,
Banana Pudding and Peach Cobbler - very good,
Ice Tea - very good,
Cole Slaw - very good, but it was sour slaw,
Stewed Apples - very good,
Country Style Steak - good,
Field Peas - good
Mashed Potatoes, good, but could be much better,
Green Beans - ok, could have been cook much longer,
Greens - ok
Service - Great!!
Atmosphere - Very good, but no background noise. They need to have some music playing or something.
Price - The family style was priced reasonable compared to other family style restaurants.
We will definetley go back soon for more of the Southern experience that is starting to disappear to other foods like Mexican and Chinese. Althought those are great foods too, I still like my Southern cooking.
