My daughter went here for 1 month. We transferred her from New Horizons in downtown Saint Paul due to a job transfer. The director is nice, but the staff is stand-offish, and not a single one of the "teachers" that dealt with my daughter ever introduced themselves to me. Her daily report (the sheet each child gets daily to tell you how well they ate, slept, and the things they did) was rarely filed out. The director divulged to me confidential things about other children in the class, which is completely inappropriate and unethical. During outside play the children were allowed to eat dirt (I say allowed because it happened on multiple occasions, even after I brought it to the teacher's attention each time). Children were not reprimanded for acting violently towards one another or saying things such as "I'll rip your face off", "I'll kill you", and other completely inappropriate comments. My daughter came home one day and told me that all cops do is kill people! This is definitely not something she heard in our home, as my father was a career peace officer, I have cousins who are peace officers, and both my husband and I tested to be peace officers. It was then that I knew, no matter the sacrifice of time it was for me or my husband that she could no longer attend this school.
