Excerpt: John's has been a family favorite since 1984, when my parents moved into a co-op apartment directly across the street. Though my parents now live elsewhere in NYC, and I'm out of state, John's is always a must-visit destination when I'm back in the city. Food, atmosphere, service--all top-notch.
