Excerpt: LOVED IT! I attended a wedding reception there yesterday. My son has several food allergies (peanuts, wheat, eggs, milk and bananas). Although he was not with me, I am still nursing him and need to avoid all those foods. I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to eat anything at the reception. When I arrived and saw the menu...I was positive that there wasn't much I'd be able to eat.
Once we were seated, the server came over to the table. Instead of asking for our drink orders, she asked, "Does anyone here have any food allergies?" I nearly fell off my chair! I rattled off the list...and she asked if I was able to eat soy. With each family style dish she brought, she advised whether or not it was safe for me to eat. The chef prepared items just for me00even a special sorbet for dessert. Everything was AMAZING! It was wonderful to be able to eat a meal and feel confident that it was SAFE!
I thanked my server over and over again. She just said, "We take food allergies very seriously!" It was so refreshing!!!
I highly recommend this restaurant! Although I was there for a private party, I wioll go back again. And, it's about an hour and a half from home!
