MoreA part of the Roscoe Conkling Park, Utica Zoo opened in 1914 with just three fallow deer. Though it is spread across 80 acres (32.37 hectares), only 40 acres (16.19 hectares) are used. Today it has over 200 animals which includes 86 various species. These are captive as well as wild creatures. The complex contains wildlife and captive exhibits, administrative offices, pavilions, an auditorium, a petting zoo and animal enclosures. It is a nice spot to spend a day with your family or celebrate your child's birthday. The ticket prices vary as per the season, so please call ahead to confirm the details. Less
