We equip our pastor and laity for the unabashed pursuit of effective ministry. The First United Methodist Church of Westfield sees a well-rounded picture of the church. A canon for measurement of our church's activity today is in Acts 2: 36-42. Like the first Christian community in Acts 2, we devote ourselves to the apostles' teaching; we have a lasting fellowship; we engage in breaking the bread in communion with Jesus Christ, and we pray for all people in the world.
