Having hosted artists and performers from Mark Twain to Gilbert and Sullivan and Patti LuPone, the theater, recently restored to its original glory in 2008, is a true must-visit while in the town. Historic tours of the hall are available twice a week on Wednesday at 5.30pm and Sunday at 2pm at USD12.50 and include other attractions like the Moffatt Ladd House, USS Albacore Museum and Portsmouth Black Heritage Trail.
