The corporate headquarters of Chet's Garage, Inc is located in the center of the black dirt region at 1030 Pulaski Highway in Goshen, New York.In the early 1940's, Joseph Chester "Chet" Korycki, had one of the largest trucks in the area. Chet voluntarily helped pull out local farm trucks that got stuck in the black dirt. All the local farmers started to call and depend on Chet to pull out their vehicles. This influenced Chet to make his own wrecker. In 1945, Chet's Garage, Inc started when Chet decided to start a business towing cars and trucks.
