ContempraDance is voted the Best of Philly 2008, by Philadelphia magazine and the Best Dance Studio in the Main Line by Main Line Life and Main Line Times. The studio offers various levels of classes for dancers from beginners to professionals and is dedicated to providing instruction in a warm and caring environment. One of the most comprehensive dance centers in the area, this facility is equipped with 2 spacious studios, air-conditioning and a separate art room. ContempraDance Center is the home of the critically acclaimed, ContempraDance Theatre, a professional Dance Company founded in 1993 by artistic director, Gail Vartanian. The Center is also the home of the Contempra Youth Dancers formed in September 2003. These dancers range in age from 7-17. They are selected through an audition process and perform throughout the year in ContempraDance Theatres hilarious holiday spoofs, Philly-Nutt-Crak-Up, Youth Regional Dance Festival, Disney World and various community events.
