The pizzas are slightly charred from being in the wood oven, and the thick crusts are so chewy and flavorful, not a scrap will be discarded. The entertainment comes from artfully tossing the disks of dough and stretching them with curved fists until they're the proper thinness. They come out to the tables on large cookie sheets topped with brown craft paper. Lenny's Pizza has set the standard for Italian Pizza in America. Yes, you can have sandwiches, wraps, pastas, seafood, burgers and gyros, vegetarian; Panini's, prosciutto and melon or spaghetti ala carbonara here, and they'll be impeccable. While we offer takeout, our customers always say that our pizza is best enjoyed in-house. While takeout times are generally short, we can't always accommodate every order during busy evenings.
