The school is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools and is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. It offers advanced placement courses in various subjects that include science, environmental science, statistics, European history, psychology, economics, French literature, music theory, and English language and composition. In addition, it offers honors courses in world literature, prose and poetry, journalism, literature and film, criminal justice, Chinese, java programming, African-American studies, economics, psychology, and speech and presentation.
