Located in the lush haven of the Green Mountain National Forest, this Hancock, VT, summer camp helps children thrive. For over 85 years, the team behind this overnight summer camp has been an enriching getaway for children of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and interests. They understand that not every child is a basketball star just as not every child loves singing in the choir. To stimulate everyone's interests, they divide activity time equally between performing arts and outdoor sports. As a welcoming, non-competitive space full of trust and understanding, they help children feel comfortable diving into new activities. Who knew your soccer star would love theater, after all? In addition to encouraging children to try new things, they also help children further develop the skills they already have. Each year, Camp Killoleet hosts over 100 excited campers, 30 highly trained counselors, and 15 supporting staff members.
