Mr. Boyers started out with a company of three people located in the heart of downtown Waynesboro that focused on conventional forced air heating and cooling systems. Sam's dedication to his customers needs resulted in a successful and long period of growth. In 1986, he relocated the company to a new 12, 000 sq.ft. facility in the Lyndhurst Industrial Park at the foothills of Afton Mountain. The business remains there to this day. The employee base and services grew. R.S. Boyers Heating and Air Conditioning now employs a 50+ person staff consisting of installers, technicians, a sheet metal fabrication shop crew, a service manager and dispatcher, four person office staff, and four project managers/supervisors.
