   MoreEvery animal leaves our facility healthy. All animals are quarantined upon admission, bathed, treated for fleas and ticks, and tested and treated for parasites. Cats are tested for feline leukemia, and dogs are tested and treated for heartworm. Our veterinarian repair broken bones, suture lacerations, remove tumors, and treat injured eyes among several other procedures. Additionally, prior to joining their adoptive homes, all animals are spayed and neutered to help control overpopulation. HSSCG is not associated with and does not receive funding from the Humane Society of the United States or county or state government.
