Our experienced team of social workers and counselors work to provide essential services to families statewide. CAS is home to seven different programs. Family Partners provides in-home family intervention to facilitate family preservation and help family reunification efforts. Alabama Pre/Post Adoption Connections, (APAC) helps individuals and families adopt Alabama's waiting children in foster care, and provides supportive services: counseling, support groups, outings, summer camp and more all at no cost. Project Independence, offers temporary housing, job training, mentorship and support to homeless parenting teens and their children. Our Independent Living program is actively working to prepare youth in foster care ages 14 - 21 with living skills and access to educational, vocational and housing resources to help them thrive when they exit care. Child Trafficking Solutions Project, (CTSP) offers training to help communities become informed and help bring an end to child trafficking in our state, they also help survivors find needed support in our communities.Our EPIC program provides quality parenting classes for both English and Spanish speaking parents, so families can thrive.
