My wife and I started our videography business about a year after our own wedding. When planning our wedding, we did not inquire about professional videography services. Instead, we asked a family member to film the wedding ceremony. After seeing the videotaped ceremony, we regretted not hiring a professional videographer. The dissatisfaction from our own wedding video prompted us to start Cutting Edge Video Productions.I have over 18 years of experience in the audio/visual industry. I began with a focus in music production, live sound reinforcement and audio/visual sales. As technology evolved, I began to incorporate video into my audio business. When I saw an opportunity in the wedding industry, it seemed like a natural next step.As professional videographers, we try to be as unobtrusive as possible. We will work with your photographer in order to obtain all those special moments that make up your wedding day. We capture these moments using professional digital Sony 3CCD video cameras. The high quality footage will then be edited by us using state-of-the-art non-linear video and audio editing systems. We will design custom DVD menus and DVD cases that will make your wedding video unique.Cutting Edge Video Productions also offers special event videography. In addition to weddings, we have filmed musical artists, high school dance programs and other events. We can capture family reunions, birthday and anniversary parties, sporting events, graduations, proms, etc. and preserve them on DVD. We can also transfer existing video footage from VHS, HI 8, and 8mm to DVD.
