In 1951, these principles were brought to Gadsden, AL, when a group of seven Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Inc. employees each pulled $5.25 from their pockets and chartered Family Savings Credit Union. Since that time, Family Savings has grown to over 74,000 members with 11 branches located in AL and GA. We serve persons who live, worship, work (or regularly conduct business in), or attend school in Etowah, Marshall, DeKalb, Jackson, Cherokee, Calhoun, Cleburne, Madison, Blount, Morgan, Cullman, Talladega and St. Clair Counties, Alabama & persons who live in Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Paulding, Polk, Carrol, Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas, Murray, Whitfield and Walker Counties, Georgia.
