The company began in 1970 as Carousel Decors, which specialized mainly in accessories for home decorating. In 1975, Carousel purchased a local competitor named Paragon Decors and formed a picture framing division in 1981called Paragon Picture Gallery. The home d cor division was phased out in 1989, leaving Paragon Picture Gallery as the company s sole remaining endeavor.
