   MoreWorship is at the very center of our life together at St. John's United Church of Christ, Genoa, OH. We are an active, welcoming community centered on Jesus’ teachings & God’s love. We begin our worship together with this reminder from the United Church of Christ: "No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here." This isn’t only how we welcome or even how we worship, it is how we grow together as people of faith. No matter how young we might be in Sunday School (held Sept-May) at 9AM or how old we are as parishioners, we're all trying to understand more about this journey through life with God. Worship is at 10AM on Sundays in the sanctuary, and the service is livestreamed on our YouTube channel, St. John's Church UCC Genoa, for those who feel more comfortable worshiping from home. Our Nurturing Center is an established, state licensed, year-round Center offering three full or part-time programs to meet the needs of the families we serve: Preschool, Day Care, and School Age. Our professionally trained staff provides creative learning experiences in a Christian atmosphere. Our Elder Care facility provides one and two-bedroom apartments allowing an environment that keeps our elderly independent at a reasonable monthly rent and serves each resident in an ongoing Christian community.
