Classes begin about the second week of September; second week of January; and the last week of April. For mini workshops at the school and national seminars check the Calendar of Events. Tai Chi The T'ai Chi form is a series of postures linked together in a continuous, fluid manner. As an internal Chinese martial art the form focuses on self-cultivation, integrates both physical and mental energy mechanics, promotes relaxation, and builds a sense of presence and awareness. T'ai Chi is often characterized as a moving meditation. Register for one class and you can attend all 4 sessions per week - at no extra cost! Self-Care Energy Work (Chi Kung/Qigong) Feeling like you could use some self-care techniques that will help to give you an energy cleanse and revitalize your sense of well-being? During these sessions you can learn basic stretches, breathing and visualization meditations, and self-acupressure (acu-points used in acupuncture) for just this purpose! These techniques are called Qigong meaning Energy Work. Best of all these exercises can be easily added to your self-care tool box and used daily. Classes taught by Master Wasentha Young.
