It is the oldest professional summer theatre in the United States. In 1999, the company finished a renovation project and became a year-round facility. The theatre has a 28-foot proscenium stage. Barnstormers Summer Theatre is equipped with a balcony and holds a capacity crowd of 282. The playhouse produces eight productions during July and August each year.
