Kanopy Academy for Contemporary Dance nurtures creativity, artistry and technical excellence. Classes are offered in creative movement for young children; modern dance, ballet, choreography, and repertory for youth through adults; with jazz, tap, hip hop, world dance, physical theater, and guest artist workshops added into curriculum during summer programs. Academy performances feature dances created by the students themselves. Kanopy Company II is made up of advanced students who perform with Kanopy's professional company. Kanopy's faculty has extensive professional experience and dedication to teaching the art form.
