DC Casineros has four superb instructors that offer weekly Rueda de Casino classes at Dance Place in Northeast DC and CafeArte in Adams Morgan. DC Casineros' co-directors, Amanda Gill and Adrian Valdivia, are available for private classes and professional duet performances at private events. Amanda Gill, President of DC Casineros, founded the dance company in the legendary DC nightclub Havana Village in 2005. Seven years later, DC Casineros have performed at over 150 venues in the DC Metropolitan area, as well as fifteen international Salsa Congresses. Along with dance performance and instruction, Amanda Gill, MA, R-DMT offers dance therapy services for organizations interested in using social dance for team building, to increase healthy relationships, and to reduce staff burnout.
