Heid Music was the proud recipient of the first annual Family Business of the Year Award in 2004. The company has been a pioneer in community music education. It offers private studios for instruction in several different instruments, such as piano, voice, guitar, drums, clarinet, oboe, violin and saxophone. It also has one of the largest Yamaha Music Education studios in the United States and has more than 1,200 students enrolled in its music education system.
