   MoreI have trained in a few modalities ranging from deep tissue to energy work. Having worked with many people over time, I have found that it's not always the modality that counts. What matters most is that I listen to you and become attuned to what your body needs. It is in the partnership -- my expertise with giving massages and understanding how your tissue is responding, and your expertise with your own body and how it feels -- that the best healing magic happens. I do not practice any of these modalities separately, but I consider them as techniques and "ways of thinking" about bodywork that I blend into a customized massage for you: deep tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, Polarity Therapy, Breema. Besides the classic form of receiving a massage at my office, I have over the years done a lot of work with: --Table Massage At your school or place of work (teacher appreciation days, corporate thank-you days, healing conventions, midterms/finals relaxation) --Workshops and Talks These can be short (1-2 hour) or longer, and include the ever-popular "how to give a good head and neck massage" workshop (with hands-on practice and some meditation time)!
