Through years of expansion & refinement, a unique area of instruction that I specialize in: is to connect & cultivate within each student, an intimate awareness & trust in their own powerful, innate genius. While mainstream methodology hinges on a teacher giving information to the hungry pupil from the outside in; my approach begins internally, bending the underlying bars of constraint wide open, revealing the way whereby students discover, then delight in freeing, the playful, creative giant, stirring within. This self-awakening not only transcends & accelerates the learning process, but has manifold benefits, enabling the one who allows themselves, the profound satisfaction of entering the blissful world of effortless, fun, music play. As a musician/entertainer....What I briefly described above is the basis of how I intuitively tune in to the vibe of an audience/setting, enabling me to seamlessly weave spontaneous improvisation alongside fresh sounding renditions of timeless classics.
