Students include jewelers, designers, beadworkers and hobbyists - raw beginners and intermediates. We teach one, two and 3 day workshops and weekly courses, including classes in soldering, sawing, lost wax casting, enameling and stone setting. Need help with a specific technique or on your schedule? Try a private lesson. Classes at SJS are small, 6 - 9 students max, with lots of hands-on-help and critique to accelerate your learning. Demonstrations are magnified live on a flat screen television so that everyone can see and understand the process. * We have expanded our program to offer online classes! Online classes use the Zoom app/website. Through Zoom, you'll be able to see demos and follow instructions, ask questions and interact with your instructor. Zoom is easy to use and free for students to use for class, and works on most devices, like phones (iphone, Android, etc), tablets (iPads, etc), and computers (Mac or PC). Your instructor is also available during free Zoom office hours for questions and help. Each class is also recorded and available for students to watch later, to review instructions or in case you missed a class. Students work at home or in their studio.
