Saint Katherine invites everyone and their families as the event is open to the public. Admission and parking is free. The festival features live, authentic Greek dancing, Greek music, and, of course, Greek food! The members of the parish prepare all of the traditional Greek favorites for the visitors. All of the food is prepared by the chefs of Saint Katherine using their own special Greek recipes and natural ingredients. If you run out of room before getting to desert, don't worry! All of the food and deserts are also available for guests to take home with them. In addition, there will be cultural displays and guided tours of the Byzantine-style church. Guests get the opportunity to view the beautiful iconography inside the church as well as the history of the Greek and the Greek Orthodox religion. This festival is not to be missed! The Sacramento Bee (2/7/2014) notes that our festival "has a more homegrown vibe to it".
