Students are behind the wheel of their own car practicing our techniques as Law Enforcement and High Performance Driving instructors provide expert 1:1 instruction on basic vehicle dynamics, the physics of driving and more. 85% of all 16-year old drivers crash within their first year behind the wheel. We focus on students with learner's permits, those recently licensed and even experienced drivers who are ready to go beyond what they learned in their traditional driver's ed to keep them out of this staggering statistic. Used by law enforcement agencies all over the country, the Skid Car is one of our most valuable teaching tools. Not a computer simulator or gimmick, the Skid Car is a real car. Equipped with with ABS brakes, Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control it allows students to practice driving in rain, snow or ice. This enables students to learn skid prevention and recovery in a safe, controlled environment. Combined with our in-car instructors, our accident avoidance simulator enables students to practice crash avoidance in their own car in a safe, controlled environment BEFORE they encounter these panic situations on the road.
